The estimate is that the 7V Solar Ranch will produce more than 550 GWh of renewable energy per year. This is equivalent to the electricity consumption of more than 150,000 homes. The incorporation of this energy, coming from a renewable source, could avoid the emission into the atmosphere of about 280,000 tonnes of CO2 per year according to the current energy mix of the state of Texas.
