Equality Plan

In Grupo Ortiz, Actually Equal Opportunities between men and women is a priority. As a result, equality and non-discrimination are the cornerstones of our corporate policies. In addition to the provisions under Organic Act 3/2007, of 22 March, for an effective equality for women and men, Grupo Ortiz deems the principle of equal treatment as recognition of equal rights and obligations, instead of giving men and women similar treatments that do not allow assessing the differences.

As a result, in April 2009 Grupo Ortiz approved its 1st PLAN FOR EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES IN GRUPO ORTIZ, taking a significant step forward in the field of equality for men and women. This plan controls and ensures the absence of procedures or policies of a discriminating nature on the account of sex during selection and recruitment processes, promotions, training or wages.

Since then, GRUPO ORTIZ works toward the full integration, under equal conditions, of women in our companies and our environment, especially caring for the reconciliation of work and family life.

In line with the COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT OF COMPANIES WITHIN GRUPO ORTIZ UNDER A SINGLE MANAGEMENT, the PLAN FOR EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES IN GRUPO ORTIZ sets forth some measures such as:
