Quality control and the Environment

QUALITY CONTROL

In the Ortiz Group, quality control is an essential tool to ensure the full satisfaction of our customers. We endeavor to comply with all our contractual requirements, within deadlines and at a reasonable cost.

To this end, the Ortiz Group bases its quality policy on the UNE- EN- ISO 9001:2008 norm.

This policy is described in the Quality Manual and it’s revised periodically. In order to maintain quality in the short and medium term, the Ortiz Group is committed to:

  • Providing a service that meets the requirements and expectations of our customers.
  • Establishing permanent training programs to enable staff to have a high level of qualification.
  • Engaging staff in the development and implementation of the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
  • Maintaining permanent contact with our customers and subcontractors in order to improve our services.
  • Taking action to prevent pollution whenever possible.

ENVIRONMENT 

In the Ortiz Group, respect for the environment has always been a priority. Our Environmental Policy assesses the environmental aspects of our activities, in order to minimize our impact on the environment and control the use of natural resources. In the Ortiz Group we are committed to:

  • Complying with legal requirements for environmental management, as well as any other requirement subscribed by the organization.
  • Establishing appropriate measures for the prevention of pollution in all our activities.
  • Requiring all subcontractors to apply defined environmental practices in their activity.
  • Taking all necessary measures to avoid accidents that may cause damage to the environment and minimize its effect.
  • Developing awareness among our employees about environmental issues related to their work.
  • Attending any demand for information regarding our environmental commitment and to make it public.
  • Taking action to prevent of pollution.

All our areas of business activity have a Quality and Environmental Management System in accordance with the UNE-EN ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 and have been certified by AENOR (Spanish Association for Standardization).

In its commitment to implement its Quality and Environmental Management systems in all business lines and national and international delegations, the Ortiz Group has a ISO 9001:2008 and 14001:2004 certification.
