2010-2014 PERIOD

  • LATIN AMERICA BONDS & LOANS AWARDS 2019: The Concession “Transversal del Sisga” was the winner of the Bonds & Loans awards in the “Project Finance Deal of the Year” category. This prize was awarded for its management in securing the credit contract or definitive funding for the value of $575,200 million, with widely acknowledged finance institutions such as: Financiera de Desarrollo Nacional (FDN), Ashmore CAF-AM Fund, BlackRock Private Capital Fund and the Official Credit Institute (Public Bank of Spain) and the project structuring entity Credicorp Capital.

  • ASEPEYO'S SPECIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENT FOR OCCUPATION RISK PREVENTION: GRUPO ORTIZ obtained a certificate by ASEPEYO attesting its proper management of occupational risks leading to a proven decrease of accidents.
  • CUEVA AWARD: Grupo Ortiz is granted the CUEVA Award by the Villanueva de Alcardete City Council in recognition of its solidarity in the collaboration on the adaptation of the disabled bathrooms at the city´s new occupational centre for dependent seniors. 
  • 2016 EUROPEAN MEDAL OF MERIT AT WORK: Grupo Ortiz obtained this award, given by the European Association of Economy and competitiveness as a reward for its professional trajectory.
  • "TRAYECTORIA EMPRESARIAL 2015 AWARD: MONEDA ÚNICA & BANCO SANTANDER: Grupo Ortiz picked up received this award in recognition of the Group's outstanding export activity in 2015 and recognised international prestige.
  • ASEPEYO 2015 AWARDS: Honorable Mention as finalist in the category "Award for the best practice for risk control" for his proposal about Working techniques with self-propelled cranes suspended platforms.
  • MAMÁ LILIANE solidarity Awards 2015: Grupo Ortiz awarded for its collaboration since 2006 with NGO Zerca y Lejos.
  • TITANES DE LAS FINANZAS 2013 AWARD, Ecofín: Grupo Ortiz was awarded the "Titans of Finance” 2013 prize by Ecofin. This Award recognizes the excellent financial management carried out by the group and its continued growth through the process of internationalization and diversification, which started just two and a half years ago.
  • SSI AWARD for Best Security Company 2012 to GALINDO ENERGIA PERU: EDELNOR has mentioned the Galindo Energía Grupo Ortiz Peru as a top security company in 2012.
  • CECAM BUSINESS AWARD, 2011: Awarded to D. Juan Antonio Carpintero López by the Business Confederation of Castilla-La Mancha in its eighth edition, in recognition of his work as an entrepreneur and his contribution to the development and growth of Guadalajara and the region.
  • Casa Mudéjar, City Heritage Award 2011:  Awarded by the Ministry of Culture to the City of Córdoba for the rehabilitation and adaptation project of the Casa Mudéjar and the International Institute of Arab and Muslim Studies, conducted by CONDISA.
  • ASPRIMA Award for the Best Sustainable Technology Initiative in Buildings in 2011: Javier Carpintero Grande, CEO of the Ortiz Group, received this award for the New Headquarters of the Group. The SIMA-Asprima International Property Awards, which in 2011 celebrated their 8th edition, recognize the best real estate projects, in terms of overall design, quality of implementation, adaptation and integration into the environment, or their ability to incorporate innovative technical, commercial or marketing elements.
  • EXECUTIVE AWARDS: Best Company of the Year, 2011: In the XXI Executive Awards, Grupo Ortiz received the award for Best Company of the Year, in recognition of their excellence and professionalism. In recent years, the company has evolved from being a company dedicated exclusively to the building sector to investing in other sectors such as energy, real estate and concessions, in which it also has had a significant impact.

2000-2010 PERIOD

  • MDI 2009 PRIZE: Best Construction and Property Development businessman: Juan Antonio Carpintero López, President and Chief Executive Officer of Grupo Ortiz received this prize on June 9, 2009, awarded by the Masters in Management of Construction and Real Estate Companies run by the School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University in Madrid.
  • "CAUPOLICAN" NATIONAL AWARD in the INNOVATION AND RESEARCH CATEGORY: Demolition of the Windsor Building, 2010: Technical Architecture National Award for construction safety granted by the General Council of  Technical Architects of Spain.
  • SPANISH ARCHITECTURE AWARD FOR THE VALLE-INCLAN THEATRE BUILDING, 2007: Awarded by the Superior Council of Architectural Colleges of Spain.
  • COMMUNITY OF MADRID AWARD FOR BEST HOUSING SOLUTION, 2001:  76 homes in Encinar de los Reyes, Madrid (INDAGSA). Selected work for the Fourth Biennial of Spanish Architecture organized by the Ministry of Public Transportation, Public Works and the Environment and the Superior Council of Colleges of Architects of Spain. 


1960-2000 PERIOD

  • VETECO ASEFAVE PRIZE for best Lightweight enclosure.
  • HONOURABLE MENTION IN THE PLANNING, ARCHITECTURE AND PUBLIC WORKS PRIZE XIV, 1999: Granted by the Hon. Madrid City Council for the urbanization of Lavapies Street.  
  • NATIONAL ARCHITECTURE AWARD, 1999: Granted by the Board of Architects and the Ministry of Culture for workd performed on the University Center for Health Sciences, La Coruña (INDAGSA).
  • FIRST PRIZE, QUALITY, ARCHITECTURE AND HOUSING, 2000 AND SECOND FAD PRIZE IN ARCHITECTURE AND INTERIOR DESIGN 1999: 28 homes for the Municipal Housing Company of Madrid, Virgen del Rosario in Vallecas, Madrid (INDAGSA).

  • "Europa Nostra" DIPLOMA for the "El Capricho" park.  

  • QUALITY, ARCHITECTURE AND HOUSING AWARD OF THE COMMUNITY OF MADRID; QUALITY AWARD TO AESTHETICS AND QUALITY AWARD FOR HOUSING SOLUTIONS, 1997: Awarded for 192 social housing units in Alcobendas, which was cited in the Fourth Biennial of Spanish Architecture as one of the 24 best buildings erected in the last two years.

  • XII CONTEST FOR PLANNING, ARCHITECTURE AND PUBLIC WORKS AWARD, 1997: Granted by the Hon. City of Madrid for the "Puente de Toledo Rehabilitation" (Ortiz-Condisa consortium).

  • PLANNING, ARCHITECTURE AND PUBLIC WORKS AWARD,  FOR A NEWLY DESIGNED BUILDING 1997: Awarded by the Hon. City of Madrid for the High Performance Centre (CAR) works, (INDAGSA).

  • QUALITY HOUSING SOLUTION AWARD, HONOURABLE MENTION 1997:  Awarded by the Department of Public Works, Planning and Transportation of the Community of Madrid, for the 153 public housing units in Loranga Park, Ciudad Jardín, in Fuenlabrada, Madrid.

  • PLANNING, ARCHITECTURE AND PUBLIC WORKS AWARD, 1999:  Granted by the Hon. City of Madrid for the 76 homes in Encinar de los Reyes, Madrid (INDAGSA).
